Caring for the Lake Together

The Pigeon Lake Watershed Association, Alliance of Pigeon Lake Municipalities, Pigeon Lake Watershed Management Plan, Steering Committee, and the Pigeon Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce are working together to facilitate policy, education and action for the lake.

The Pigeon Lake Watershed Management Plan calls for all individuals and organizations to help by:

Seeking out information and beneficial practices relevant to their situation.

Assessing their own properties and operations

Making beneficial changes incrementally.

Encouraging others and councils to make appropriate changes.

Supporting volunteer watershed groups such as the PLWA

This project was funded in part through the Watershed Stewardship Grant, a program of the Land Stewardship Centre financed by Alberta Environment and Protected Areas. Thank you to the Land Stewardship Centre for their funding contributions to this program in 2022 and 2023!
