1981 - Wildfire at Itaska Beach

A large area north of Itaska Beach between Beach Avenue and Range Road 13 was burned in 1981, which was observed to be the result of a wildfire. A great many paper birch, aspen and young spruce burned in the fire along with a smaller amount of black spruce.
