Come participate in planting seedlings to improve the natural habitat on the shoreline and trails at Camp Bar-V-Nok at Pigeon Lake. Join the Agroforestry and woodlot Extension Society, the Pigeon Lake Watershed Association, and the Camp Bar-V-Nok Society for a day of tree-filled fun!
We will be planting more than 1500 native plants. Tamarack, White Spruce, and Lodgepole Pine will be added to the understory in areas where the trail has been disturbed. At the shoreline we will be helping to reestablish native habitat, stabilize the shore and combatting weeds by adding fruit trees and shrubs. Hope to see you there!
