Building a Resilient Shoreline - Healthy Lake Speaker Series
Higher water levels in recent years have caused shoreline erosion and ice damage for many property owners at Pigeon Lake. Adding resiliency and ecological function to our landscape is about how we manage and use our watersheds. Our shoreline is critically important to improve water quality and biodiversity, adding natural water storage. This presentation will provide information on how to increase drought and flood resiliency coupled with recommendations for beneficial land use management practices in the uplands of the watershed.
