PLWA New Year's Day Sleigh Rides at Pigeon Lake

  • Pigeon Lake Horse Drawn Rides Range Road 20 AB, T0C Canada (map)

Start the New Year at the Lake with an outdoor party to celebrate our beautiful watershed. Pigeon Lake Watershed Association has teamed up with Pigeon Lake Horse Drawn Rides to offer sleigh rides as a fundraising event to support programs for a healthy lake and watershed.

Update Dec 27, 2021: Weather is expected to warm up to -8 degrees on January 1st. Spots still available. Register Online.

With this extreme cold, we checked with the operators at Pigeon Lake Horse Drawn Rides. They do not run the horses unless it is -18 degrees (no wind) or warmer. At this time WE DO PLAN TO RUN THE EVENT but we will continue to monitor the weather. Last minute registrations welcome.

Rides are 30 minutes and hot chocolate will be served around a firepit.

Advanced booking is required.
