1952 - Creek Existence at Argentia

“…the stream running on the road allowance between Wards and Loughs…Countless hours were spent at the creek, which runs between Ward’s and Lough’s cottage, digging, building dams, and creating great engineering feats of water diversion. So intense was the activity that W.O.W.W. inc. (pronounced wow!) was formed…which took charge of all engineering activity at the creek.” - to note: the alterations seem to be interpreted mostly as kids having fun while playing in the creek and seeing how water flows when met with various inventions created by the youth.
