1985-1999 - Land Use Changes

“Land use changes occurred with the conversion of forested lands to agricultural lands (from 50% forested lands in 1985 to 35% in 1998)…the conversion of other lands to urban and developed lands (Cottages, residences). Private cottage lots in 1950, numbered 250, increasing to 845 in 1966, and 2,926 in 1999.”
