1928-02-01 - Heavy Snowstorms

Hilah Ayers delivered their daughter Evelyn, in the Wetaskiwin Hospital in 1928. This is Hilah Ayers account of the journey back home which includes observations on the severity of snowstorms for 1928.

“On the return trip in mid-February 1928, Mrs. Ayers and baby Evelyn encountered terrible storms and had to stay over at the Lewis Ayres’ farm west of Millet. It would be one month before the family members would see the new baby for the first time.”
